We’ve definitely been taking advantage of the cooler months yield of fresh veggies. Our cauliflowers and broccolis are on the grow giving us plenty of winter dish options in the kitchen, as are the zucchinis which round off a good aussie BBQ. The ‘baby Amsterdam’ heirloom carrots we planted from seed back in April are ripe for the picking, and their crunchiness adds texture to any fresh garden salad. With spring just around the corner we’ve already started planning out some new bedded areas for expansion and looking forward to adding a few new varieties of vegetables to the patch!
